To fit your budget I'd recommend a couple of ADK 51. They´re similar to the original Neuman U87 in some ways, and they sound really good especially for acoustic guitars and vocals. Best of all - they´re not pricey

I agree with the others about the timing. But, as Emir said, you have good confidence and attitude - which is great! I also like that you use small finger movements with your fret hand - You show potential to reach extreme speeds, imo. But watch out for playing sloppy. Practice a bit slower and more accurate for a while and keep those small finger movements, and you'll be there in no time!

Oh, one small thing: The first trill should be on the note D up to E (fret 10 to 12 on the high E-string).

Maybe you're right Wabba, but in this case I think it's hard to set the difficult-level because it's a whole song which starts of pretty easy and it gets more and more difficult towards the end.

Yes, Kris is perfectly right. We used a recording technique which I believe is called re-amping. He basically sent me the dry signal from his guitar, and then I processed that audio file through my PODxt.

In my experience it has nothing to do with playing fast. It's just about getting a better grip of the string, which some think is good for the vibrato and bends, since there's no (or very little) resistance

Another option is to put XJ frets on the neck, and it will have pretty much the same effect... but it won't look as cool of course

I've re-fretted a whole neck once... it was not easy, but in the end it turned out great! Only costed about 5 usd, or something like that...

Just want to add to this discussion that, in my opinion, there’s no real value in buying a brand new guitar. I’ve done it a couple of times but I’ll probably never do it again, because I think a guitar only get better when it’s been played for a few years. Of course we have to watch out for worn frets and stuff like that, but I think second hand is an option everyone should consider. Not just because you’ll get a better price…
