Can you give this a look Nemanja! I'm not sure about it... it has some major flaws, but I think some parts are quite nice My voice isn't very steady yet, so that's why sometimes I really loose it I wondered...would this be to bad to put on YouTube? I'm probably not going to, it's just for comparison. BTW, it's She Will be Loved by Maroon 5, and it's directly after a hockey match, that's why my hairs so flat Thanks for uploading Kaz.This was such an enjoyment to watch. You should upload on youtube for sure. And you should defenetly work on you voice in the future. You have good high vocal, and good ear.You chould use that talent and work on it. And start wrighting your own song at once. The more you wright, they will be beter in time. And this music style sounds good on you. Now,little a bout what you need to fix.First I know the song well so I undrestud every thing, but, second verse is not so understandeble.Be sure to pronounce the words better.About falsseto,it is good, but you need a bit omre power and control. My advice is,take just one interval on the words "SHE---------WILL".Practice just that part,it would be better for this song and for your falsseto transmission in the future. I have one too, its a little long. Dedicated to the worlds troops. First of all tihs is a finished song, and it sounds AMAZING!!!!Every thing is good, arrangemet is a killer one.Singing is very good, and the moust important thing lyrics are amazing.Nothing to add, keep on making this kind of great songs. |

Guitarists use real amps in the proper studio. I don't think that multieffects like POD and similar things are that much in use for the real recording. I used to like Michael Romeo's (Symphony X) sound a lot. It had so much bass and power so when he plays riffs it really sounds like a hurricane Later I found out that his sound is actually much more in treble frequencies, there is no bass at all. That means that many instruments togehter and the richness of the arrangement is making that powerful impression. When the riff, bass guitar and the kick drum hit something all together then you hear it like a bomb but the guitar itself doesn't really sound like that on its own. Sound engineer has a lot to do with that as well. Exactlly!!! Pantera is the similar example in this case. |

Depends of project settings but you can set it that way of course, to get monitoring automatically once you hit record button. It is default setting for midi tracks,I know that audio chanells has the option for monitoring activation by hitting record. But if you open midi track, load instrument,if you activate record button(not hit record) you will gett monitoring. |

Well some times when you take one instrumen out of a finished mix you will wonder how it could sound so good in the mix. That is definition of the word "mix".For examplle you could have amazing stand alone drum snare, but it sounds bad in the mix.I know that some metal productions record rhythm guitars very big,lot of bass in them, but later in the mix you have bass guitar you have drums and all the other instruments that are filling the EQ spectrum. They then cut off frequencies in rhythm gitars. |

In this lesson, you use the word postation twice. http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/from-m...classical-pt-1/ Google doesn't turn up anything relevant. /I need to start working on my singing, but I'm afraid my whole family will laugh while I practice. First of all, don't be scared of practicing.Postation is more of a Italian or should I say european word. But I will explain to you how it works and what is the full meaning.Postation is position of your voice. So when you change your vocal position, your voice may sound like some is singing classical music,or metal or rock......etc. So it is a difference in color, tone and every thing you voice is producing. |

I use automation for volume adjustment(instead of fade out and similar) and it works very welll, You can always draw/redraw it. Much better control over project! I agree mate,it is a great option.I was talking to some people that are working in big studios,in big mix tables. He sad that this digital automatization is way easier then analog. So,it does makes things a bit easier. |

One thing about recording vocals - pay attention to and experiment a bit with the position of the mic - distance and whether on or off axis and above/below/in-line... Cheers, Tony That is very true tony, when I record my vocals,I have marked distance on the flor(from me to mic). |

hey I can play guitar fairly well, but I would like to be able to sing well too! Im currently practicing singing vowels (eh, ee, ah, oh, oo) with a major scale, starting on a root note then going up 7 intervals and then decending and then moving up a semi quaver and repeating. Whats the best way to improve my ability to sing in pitch? Im not completely terrible but I dont have the confidence to sing a song loud properly! thanks! do u think I can ever be good? All moust every one can be good with enough practice. You are on the good path, keep up with the scales.and be patient. Now,as stupid as it sounds, take your guitar, stand up in front of your mirror, and take a simple song and sing it. That is a bit confirence builder. Good practice for pitch are intervals. For example, play a root note, then, major third, then major fifth, and then sing it with guitar, and then try to sing it with out the guitar. |
