Superize-open Chords Strumming, From Jerry Arcidiacono |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Rhythm placement 4.4
Cleanness 4.7 Feel 4.5 Posture 4.6 Sound 4.2 I would make it a little bit more dynamic and tighter, but it sounds pretty solid as it is. As for the recordign of acoustic guitar, condenser mic works best there. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

My first REC with acoustic so any tips on how to improve recording would be great aswell..... Rhythm placement - 4.5 Cleanness - 4.5 Feel - 4.5 Posture - 4.5 Sound - 4 Finally we see your Washburn in action on the REC I'm with Lian here, very nice take. My first REC with acoustic so any tips on how to improve recording would be great aswell..... You can try with some acoustic pickup. So you can have a separate signal for your guitar. Just ask me the backing if you need it. As Ivan said, you can go also for a condenser mic. Pro models are pretty expensive but there are also some cheap ones which do the job very well. If you need to record some other instrument in the future, like voice, drums or any acoustic instrument this can be a little investment. -------------------- ::: Main Gear ::: Guitars: Washburn N4 Vintage | Washburn N2 | Washburn WI67Pro | Washburn WG-587 | Washburn EA20B Amps: Laney GH50L (head) | Laney GS410 & GS212IE (cabinets) | Rocktron PROGAP Ultra (rack preamp) | Rocktron Velocity 150 (power amp) | Marshall VS230 (combo) FXs: Rocktron Intellifex + custom pedalboard (check my video demo) Other: Shredneck | Intellitouch PT10 tuner Picks: Esseti Picks Software & Recording Gear: Cubase 4 | Overloud TH1 | Mackie Onyx 400F | EZdrummer | Korg Pandora PX4D ------------------------------------------------------- myspace.com/jerryarcidiacono Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |
