hey mattacuk - i would say if you want some serious progress you need to make those times atleast x2.
30 minutes of sweeping is not enough if you want to get serious improvement in it! ...just a suggestion... -------------------- "It isn't how many years you have been playing, it's how many hours." -- Prashant Aswani "PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!" -- Michael Angelo Batio Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |

Atleast it's refreshing mentally to get a change and helps the fun to stay fun. YES!!! It should always be fun. Do the boring excercises but break it up with some fun stuff. I always end the day with some cool riffs or if I happen to nail a difficult piece I never managed before I call it a day instantly. That's 100 times better for the soul and mind to carry with you than ending the day getting stuck with your fingers in the tremolo bleeding all over the place. -------------------- My bands homepage
All time favourites: B. Streisand - Woman in Love, M. Hopkin - Those were the days, L. Richie - Hello |
