Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi, Beat. Your timing and muting is very good here. Nice and solid rhythm.

On that lick around 0:15 I can't quite hear the final note. It's possible you didn't quite play it. The tone you're using is very mild so it's possible that the single note licks are not sounding as good as they could because of the lack of sustain.

But overall, your playing is very good. Nice work !

Listening to it for a few times I couldn't find anything more than Ben has pointed. Probably most attention-taking factor was the tone. I usually advice to take off some gain but in this particular case I would advice the opposite smile.gif Also mid scoop suggested by Ben could be a good tip. As for the precission and timming - both are very descent smile.gif

Hi Beat!

This is a good take! Your playing is consistent when you play the power chords rhythms. I also think that some more work on the faster parts of the riff and an adjustment on tone to make it sound with more sustain will make this one sound perfect. So take these two details and work on the lesson for some more days.

Keep on the good job!
