Neoclassical Sweeping & Legato, Lesson By Gabriel Leopardi |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi again Cael!
Nice to find this lesson here! I honestly didn't remember it! The overall sounds good. Your Sweeping technique is clean and clear here, and the legato is also consistent. I also think that your tone is the right one for this style. The only element that needs adjustment is your timing. As this backing doesn't include drums, it's trickier to keep the tempo tight, so you'll need to keep your foot tapping or your head to avoid losing the right tempo along the whole take. This issue becomes more notorious from second 14 to 22. Besides that detail, this is very good. Keep rocking. -------------------- My lessons
