Original lesson: Neoclassical Three-Level-Lesson, Intermediate by Marcus Lavendell

My second REC lesson: I was hoping to get a better take. Though I think this is a honest representation of my abilities at the moment :) Sorry about the audio. Hope the sound is adequate enough! I'm trying to learn to record through my computer. This is the best I can do for now.

Hey mate! The take is very good - it sounds tight and in time. I would agree about the improvement of the sound - how did you record?
Ben Higgins
Brilliant take ! That very first vibrato sounds a bit sharp so try to make sure you always allow the note to return to it's original pitch when doing vibrato (just like a string bend). This will avoid it sounding out of key.

In terms of your playing, it was totally perfect. You've got great timing, tone, bends and vibrato. cool.gif

I love that Strat.. I've always preferred the big 70's headstock. Is it an Yngwie model or just similar ? I can't tell by the video but I'd swear it must have a scalloped neck because you managed to wring so much juice out of those notes smile.gif

Your timing is very good , good alternate picking, and also a measured bending and vibrato. The only thing that you should improve is the sound, but it is more a matter of technical issue smile.gif ! Almost perfect !

Very very good, nice bending and vibrato, which is very important, and good picking. There were couple of notes missed, so I gotta give it an 8 here, because I think you need to play all the notes right, without missing any of them for higher grade.

Sounds really good! You did a fantastic job! I will agree with the rest and your sound need some improvement also it sounded like your guitar was a little out of tune?
Gabriel Leopardi
Hey! This is a very good take and the tone is really close to the original lesson. (not the quality of the recording, the original mix is more powerful). I note that sometimes when you do a bend, you start the vibrato at the same moment that you reach the note... if you compare this with Marcus take, you'll note that he lets the note sound and then he starts with the vibrato which is even wider than yours in this take.
Besides that you did an awesome job!
