Original lesson: Winter Tune by Piotr Kaczor

Gabriel Leopardi
Hi mate! Congrats on your great job!

This lesson is getting very close to sound flawless! But there are some details that you need to have in mind during the next days of practice:

- Your bending is not always precise. There are some moments, mostly during the second half where you are not reaching the pitches smoothly. It becomes more serious in the last phrases.

- Timing: Starting at 1:00 you have timing issues. Not really serious but you don't keep the tightness of the first half.

- Cleanness: The last open string pedal note idea could sound clearer. There are some notes that sound dirty and weak.

Please work with these things in mind and you'll master this one.

Keep on the hard work!

Hey there! Excellent job with this lesson. Pointed issues are not at the critical level so we speak only about polishing what has been done by far.

At the "bells" part you need to truly focus on those bells cause you tend to rush your part a little (in front of the beat). Bending need some polishing as well (pitch-wise) but as for the rhythm part it sound descent - both timming and cleaness smile.gif Good job on this one!

Hi there, this is a really interesting take because, despite the errors, you've got a really good vibrato and feel.

The first half of the lead playing goes well. The tone is full, the vibrato is nice and wide and the timing is good.

From around 0:57 you cut the phrases a little short by moving too quickly to the next notes or phrases. So you're just in front of the beat a little bit, ok? Nothing too serous. Just try to relax into the beat and don't shift too early and then those sections will sound excellent.

If you can, try to get some vibrato on those last notes of the open string sequence, like at 1:15 and beyond. You'll probably have to use upwards vibrato for those, like Piotr does, because being on the B string doesn't allow much room for downwards vibrato.

For those last bends, some vibrato would also give them a bit more life. Your vibrato technique is good to use it smile.gif
