Hi Charles!

I've compared this new take with the previous one and the good news is that this one is a step forward into the right direction. Each of the elements that I've marked on the previous take show some improvement on this new one. You still need to keep on practicing with those things in mind putting more focus on improving:

- timing
- bending
- vibrato
- trills

But I have to say that you are definitely on the right track. I recommend you to complement the practice of this lesson with some technique exercises for vibrato, bending and legato (trills). This kind of exercises will help you train your hands to play the lesson smoother.

Keep on the hard work!

Hey Charles, Merry Xmas man.

This take is a massive improvement over your previous one.

First off, the rhythm. You obviously took on board what I said about mixing up palm muting and non palm muting. It sounds so different now - well done. There's still improvement to be made as some of the chords still sound a bit awkward, like at 0:24 but it seems like it's due to your fingers being slightly off position.

The lead section is also much smoother as your fingers move with a lot more purpose and confidence than before. You're leaving them on the notes for longer so it doesn't sound as hurried.

Keep working on all aspects of this lesson and all aspects of your technique as the results are good - you just need to keep doing it now so that it will improve on every level.

Great work!

Hey man!
I agree on Ben's point - lead section is much better comparing to your previous section - cleaner, more in time and more precise.
There are no serious mistakes to fix hear. Your take is quite descent and pleasant to listen yet if we would take it to a "studio recording" levelm we might demand even more precision - timming had a little headroom - could be even tighter, and bends need jus ta few more cents to get perfect pitch smile.gif
