As you probably heard Dave Mustaine from MEGADETH has left DEAN GUITARS and gone to GIBSON GUITARS and has a new signature guitar. It's basically a flying V with a hockey stick / explorer style head stock. The guitar is getting mixed reviews from fans. Many folks seem to like his old DEAN sig V a bit better. This one honestly doesn't seem to be that different from his last sig V, but for the hockey stick head stock. Seems a bit like a money grab from from Mr Dave, but hey, it's a business after all and he has bills to pay, and I'm guessing he can make more with Gibson than he did with Dean. He's now a MARSHALL/GIBSON guy, which are the two largest vendors he's been with at the same time so far.
