  • Hello GMC!

-In today's lesson we are going to cover 12 bar blues! You are going to learn how the 12 bar blues progression is bult and how to accompany any 12 bar blues progression no matter in which key is it.

-Once you learn this lesson you will instantly know how to jam a bass line to hundreds of songs that use this same progression! You will use mosly chord tones and scale tones for improvising your bass line over this lesson's backing track in a simple yet effective manner.

-This lesson is in the key of A major. We are going to use A major scale mostly, but we'll include some notes from the minor scale too.

    -Key: A major
    -Tempo: 120 bpm
    -Time signature: 4/4
    -Tuning: standard
    -Difficulty: beginner/intermediate

Equipment I used for getting this sound was: Am Fender Jazz Bass deluxe, equal mix of both pickups with added bass and middle on onboard preamp - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and flat eq there.

Feel free to ask me any questions in the lesson's feedback and in my instructor board at the forum.

Enjoy and I hope you'll have a lot of fun jamming in this one!
