Hey GMC!
Let's give our picks a rest for a few moments. That's right! Today's lesson is on Fingerpicking, which is a great alternative to using a conventional pick. Let your fingers do the walking!
Tonality:
We'll be using the key of C major.
Chord progression:
C, C/B, Am7, F (x2)
C, C/B, Am7, G, F, C/E, F, G (x2)
Equipment and Sound: I used a Telecaster with single coil pickups on the middle pickup setting, ran it into a Line 6 UX2 Studio and POD Farm. Used an emulated Fender Bassman amp and an emulated Tubescreamer. Then added compression, delay and reverb and recorded into Garageband. I also added a little more compression and reverb in Garageband.
Tuning: A 440 Standard
