  • Hello GMC gang!

This is one of the saddest and most emotional pieces I’ve ever written and it is linked with a very delicate moment which happened a long time ago. It may be sad, but in the same time I think it has a lot of power and it is built in the key of D minor – rumor has it that this key is the saddest. Could it be a simple coincidence? (I found this out a year after composing the piece)

Well, you shall be able to reap the following benefits if you will go thoroughly through this lesson:

    - learning how to build up melodies by using chords with less conventional positions
    - developing your hybrid picking technique
    - building up phrasing control, as this piece is pretty dynamic in its interpretation

Try to feel this one and let yourselves go while you play it, once the music gets to you, I am certain you shall be able to feel its power and manage to interpret it in the best way possible.

See you at the next lesson!
