  • Welcome to the "Country Steel Techniques" lesson. This is one inspired by some of my favorite country sounds of the 60s and 70s - they just happen to be from pedal steel players! The tone is twangy and smooth. I have also employed a popular effect from the era - phaser. Aside from the usual pedal steel style bends this lesson also covers a couple of unique techniques: right hand harmonics and volume knob swells. Enjoy!
