Hello GMC!
This is the famous Irish traditional song called "Drunken Sailor". I have prepared this easy version for beginners.
You will play solo and fingerstyle accompaniment with alternating bass.
For the solo part, pay attention to the alternate picking as this is crucial to be able to play it fast and accurate.
The accompaniment is playing only three chords: Am, G, Em
As you can see in the video, for the chords I put the palm of my right hand on the sixth, fifth and fourth strings.
This allows me to get a more beautiful sound.
Perform the song very slowly at first, then gradually increase the speed until you master the technique.
