  • Hi GMC-ers! The basis is a simple slow ballad in E minor however I used more style elements in the lesson. In the beginning we can listen to some Hungarian folk patterns and the continuing is a bit jazzy and bluesy. The folk influences remain and heareble here and there during the whole song.

    After the folky intro I used an E minor scale with many slided notes and wide vibratos.This is the main theme which is repeated with an octave higher. Then next part is the bridge where the strings play in parallel the same melody and at the end is the chorus.

    Techniques:
    * Bends
    * Slides
    * Vibratos
    * Hammer-ons
    * Pull-offs

    Chord Progression:
    * Em - D - C - Am - Em - D - C - Am - Em - D - C - Am - Em - D - C - Am
    * Chorus:
    C - D - Em - Em - C - D - G - A - C - D - Em - Em - C - D - E - E
