Hi GMC!
In this lesson I will demonstrate application of some unusual chords, minmaj7, as well as some latin harmony patterns. The song is in the key of G minor and the chords used are:
G min6, F min6, Gminmaj7, A min7-5, D7, C min7-5, D# maj7, D aug, G min7, G min6, D aug.
Most of them can be substituted, for example instead of G minmaj7, you can just play G min9, though minmaj adds some extra tension. Then, C min7-5 is already substitution for D7#9 which is common in this type of progressions. When you strum make sure to pick notes hard, and to maintain rhythmical pattern even.
Enjoy!
Regards!
Vasilije
