  • Hi everyone !

I wrote this metal piece for my band one of my bands.
It includes a main riff, the verse and chorus part.
This riff is fairly easy to play, but sounds good in my opinion :)

The song starts out in E phrygian with a heavy dropped riff. To make it more heavyer, I've included a pinched harmonic at the end.

The second part is a typical 70's 80's riff, it's fairly easy to play, and it's easy to create a verse part to in.

The chorus part is a simple E minor, but very melodic and it's very easy to create a chorus to it.

    This lesson Includes:

    Palm muting
    Staccato
Zakk Wylde style pinched harmonics, and vibrato
    slides
    melodic chord playing

    I'm in drop D tuning:
    D; A; D; G; B; E

    Have fun!
