Welcome again! This lesson is plenty of good rythm ideas. Great job!!!
thanks guys, i think it's very cool that advanced players take the time to really master the easy stuff .
@vasilije, that's a great idea, i will def check that out (i'm a jazz super newbie)
@eat-sleep-andJam, thanks man!, i did the best i could!
I didn't read all the comments but one thing I want to compliment you on, is not only your playing is great.
But this video quality is superb.
Feels like Hi- Def !

Very very nice lesson ! Bookmarked !
Good concepts, I am planing to do same with jazz chords!
Cool lesson And its also useful for beginners and more advanced who haven't spend too much time playing rhythm like me
So thanks and Cheers
thanks newguy!
hey maharzan thanks!, well it's guitar rig 4 sounding here, guitar -> tube pre amp -> audio interface -> guitar rig 4 - cubase 4 or pro tools
And dylan, that would be a little hard cause it was an improvisation, i don't really even remember how to play it
Nice lesson and cool sound too.
ooh are you a teacher on gmc
wow sick -> can you teach "Thunder Rock - Rock N Roll"
Dylan
Nice Axe man.. I m jealous. Whats the amp? Nice sound.
Woa thanks TheOldOnes and fran!
Thanks guys !
@vampire18, what do you mean ?
@Alexiaden93, thanks man, well it's a Dimarzio Chopper, i prefer Dimarzio over SD, not sure why, just make my ears happy.
If you are getting a chopper for the bridge, i would recommend a cruiser or some "area" for your neck, two choppers can sound too similar and i personally like the neck to have a little less output/gain than the bridge.
Excellent lesson Adrian
If I ever thought there was a mandatory lesson for beginners (and more advanced players), this would definitely be it! I suspect coupling this lesson with learning with a metronome could very well be one of the turning points for turning true beginners into budding guitar players!
Wow ! Awesome lesson, and sweet guitar ! Is your bridge pickup a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail SHR-1 ? Having heard the sound your guitar makes, I am definitely getting one (two actually) of those !
Welcome to GMC !
Great first lesson Adrian!!! Very useful stuff for all levels of player!!
Very cool lesson man!
cool lesson, a little thrash is always good,
but can you tell me whats the deal with your neck(guitar neck lol)?
Nice Tatoos
Man, this should really excite someone new to rhythm playing. Easy, fun and sounds cool! Great lesson man!
thanks for the great feedback guys, hope this helps somebody
Great first lesson.
Wow what a cool lesson! Welcome Adrian
Great and well though first lesson. Welcome to GMC.
Excellent first lesson! These rhythms are essential!
Welcome to GMC once again Adrian. Cool first lesson
Cool first lesson Adrian! This one has vry interesting rhythm stuff!
Welcome again!
thanks for the feedback guys, i feel more than welcome here .
And yeah that's true, even for the most technical guitar player, it's always important to focus on the very basic things, rhythm is the roots of music
VERY GOOD LESSON! Very important, and something everyone needs but often forget among all the shred excercises
cool lesson..
Like Kris is saying, this will indeed be great for me in order to improve my rhythm chops..
Great..
And welcome to GMC..
Very cool first lesson Adrian! This should not only be useful for beginners but also for solo guitarists (like me) who haven't yet spent enough time on their rhythm chops.
Welcome to GMC once again!
P.S Adrians intro thread can be found here.
Let's look at some rhythmic variations to improve your tempo keeping/switching, and most importantly: to train your right hand.
Almost the entire lesson is played on two power chords, the power chord of E and the power chord of A.
In the end we got two very basic rhtyhm licks.
Enjoy the lesson and start working on that right hand!
