  • Welcome to Tapping Etude 1! This is a little piece I wrote that will hopefully help you to advance to a higher level in tapping.

    It's consisted of arpeggios, played both descending and accending, in triplets, after every three notes, returning to the second note and adding three more notes, and so on...

    Each arpeggio is played in two positions at once, one position is played by the left hand, and the other by right.

    In this exercise your right hand is playing in a chord position, using only your index finger, (feel free to use any tapping finger you like, or you would like to practice tapping with) which you might find a little difficult to maneuver about, but that is the main idea in this tapping exercise, to push your limits, and to make your tapping more precise.

    Key: a minor;
    Tempo: 140 BPM;
    Time signature: 4/4.

    Enjoy! :)
