  • Hello GMC friends! Here are some tips on how I use my favorite technique over similar chord shapes.

    The concept itself is not difficult - you need to visualise the chords in two places of the fretboard and connect them by tapping.

    Guitar: Music Maker Custom
    Strings: Elixir
    Plug ins: Amplitube 3 / Addictive Drums / Halion One
    Recording SW: Nuendo a

    Standard tuning: E, A, D, G, B, E

    Tempo: 140 BPM

    Time signature: 4/4

    All examples are in the key of Dm (dorian mode)
    Dm Em F G Am Bmb5 C

    Now lets focus on minor chords. As you can see, there are 3 minor chords in this key.
    We will work with the pair: Dm and Am!

    Except on lick #2, the connection will be the three major triads.
