  • Hi GMC'ers! We will be covering of one Tom Petty's classics, "Free Falling" This is one of the greatest songs of all time and is extremely catchy. It only has 3 main chords played over and over with subtle changes here and there.

There are 2 guitar parts in this lesson. Guitar 1 is playing Tom Petty's part, and Guitar 2 is playing Mike Campbell's (lead guitarist for "The Heartbreakers") part. The most advanced part of this song is the strumming, so be sure to concentrate on getting your rhythm correct when playing these parts.
