Hi Gmc-ers! This is one of my favorite solos from the second album of my band,
Wisdom. This is also the fastest solo I've ever written. This solo is pure improvisation. I've got the backing track in the studio and I started to jam and this solo came up instantly.
The solo begins with a simple melody in G minor. I used faster and wider vibratos at the beginning. I continue the solo with some bluesy phrasing but I stayed in G minor. After this I simply followed the chord with a simple and slow arpeggio. The following part is a simple run in G minor, and follows with sixtuplets.
The part after the first run begins with an insanely fast sweep pattern, it's basically a G minor sweep pattern which ends with a wide stretching lick. I finished the solo with a melody that also follows the last chord.

Remember, practice everything slow at first, and eventually speed it up until you get to the desired speed.
