Hey Frank - can you be a little more specific regarding the question about the right hand? I will take a wild guess and daresay you are referring to the fact that David is holding his right hand closer to the neck - that is because he aims to obtain a warmer jazzier tone which appears when picking closer to the neck. Let me know if I understood the question, deal?
i dont understand why you keep your hand close(the right one).. it doesnt block you and make you uncomfortable ??
Hi Dean - you can download the Guitar Pro file (tab). Guitar Pro has an option to show the tab in standard notation.
Where do I download the standard musical notation for this lick? I don't see the pdf icon to print it out??

Playing over a repetitive backing track made out of only one or two chords can be quite challenging. That is what this lesson is about. When doing so, you need to be well equipped with an arsenal of licks that will make your improvisation sound more prepared and help you be able to think about what to play next.
The following ideas are meant to be played without thinking about them freeing you to enjoy what you are playing and mentally prepare your next move without the frustration of concentrating on what you are playing.
We'll be playing in an E Dorian key using a mix of minor pentatonic and chromatic scale ideas.
