Never heard of this band - some RUSH influences in there I think, straight out of 2112 if I'm not mistaken. I might check 'em out!

Great riffing Carlos, cheers.
Cool heavy stuff Carlos !
I am a real fan of Alter Bridge, I love Tremonti, I love his PRS and the low tunings, and I love the powerful vocals! You grabbed their essence with this lesson, well done
I really need to get a second guitar for dropped tunings, as my Ibanez with poor tremolo system would die while changing the tuning often:( This lesson is great Carlos.

Hi GMC! Welcome to my Alter Bridge style lesson!
Alter Bridge is formed in 2004 for the ex-members of Creed Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall. Marshall had retired Creed previously for differences with the singer Scott Stapp. Nevertheless it would return to join his former companions in this project. The singer Myles Kennedy would be the last one to join. In the same year, Edge, of the WWE adopted the song Metalingus for his entry.
The band proved several names before be deciding by Alter Bridge. The name came from a bridge constructed in the route Alter Road, in the surroundings of Detroit, Michigan, near the house where Tremonti had grown. Other names that the band managed to consider were "Downright" and "One Day Remains".
Alter Bridge signed with Wind-Up Records and his album published début, One Day Remains, on August 10, 2004. The album produced three simple ones and reached the golden disc in The United States and that of platinum internationally.
The last qualified album Blackbird, it was launched on October 10, 2007. His first single titles "Rise Today" which was used as WWE's official topic Unforgiven 2007, and his video already circulates in the Internet. It seems that the topic “Watch over You” also is sounding often in the radios of the USA and probably it might turn into the next single of the album. Though the topic “Ties That Bind” already has been a confirmed as next single.
Alter Bridge comes loaded from heavy rock, differing of Creed for a sound a bit more classic and full of solos!
