  • Playing lead guitar over a mediocre background rhythm is like drinking fine wine in a plastic cup. In today's lesson, we'll study a piece which should hopefully inspire you to create soem better rhythm tracks for your leads.

Technically speaking, we'll use a lot of alternate picking. Remember to be as precise as possible when playing. Your guitar should follow the bass at all times and be in tight tempo. We'll use a minor pentatonic in E with an additional Major third to kep things interesting.

Memorize everything and work your way with precision and good rhythm placement. Have fun!
