  • Hi GMC! Here is a combination of bending techniques in the style of Mr Jimi Hendrix.
Bends are an important part of guitar playing, especialy on the electric guitar in a blues or blues-rock context, and it requires strong fingers and accuracy to get the perfect pitch.

You'll find bends, bends and release, prebends, reverse bends etc... from quarter tones to two whole tones.

At first some bends & techniques may be difficult, but as always this will come with practice.

Try to experiment with those different techniques and try to integrate them into your guitar playing to make some very interesting effects !

I use E minor pentatonic & E minor blues scale.
The backing track is over an E7#9 vamp.

    Have fun ! :)
    Steph
