HEY GMC!
Welcome to my new lesson where we take a look at the amazing possibilities created by using 'Spread Voicings' or ' Open Voicings'. These are chord voicings where the order of the notes is spread out across octaves to create an open expansive quality. In this case the chords are voiced in order of; Root, 5th, 10th(3rd) and 7. This creates very piano like voicings and some interesting fingerings to voice them. This etude double as a great finger work out too so make sure you stretch fully before attempting the lesson ;)
