  • Hi GMC, this is my canon singing lesson, which I had a lot of fun making and singing. Canon singing is based on polyphony or "contra punkt" witch means doth against doth. Two or more melodies are in the same way and in the same harmony relation.

In this lesson I have 3 melodies, main and two others which have the role of make this song more interesting and harmony more complex.

The lesson (song) is in E minor root key, and through the song we have D major and C major, which are VII and VI degree of E minor. This progression is used about a million times in songs, and is always good for ballad or more emotional songs.

    Have Fun!
