Hi, that is why I came here........ to learn the rumba!
So I really hope you will post another lesson very soon.
Thanks anyway it is great and powerfull when you play it well
Excellent lesson! Very useful stuff, indeed.
Great lesson, but can you learn us the intro too ?
i really liked the ending biggrin.gif
Brilliant lesson! I thought flamenco would be too hard to learn but I can now with ease
Hi thanks for your comments, I want to do some more, but unfortunately at the moment I have so many students, I have no time to do video editing.
I will try as soon as I can to do some more.
NICE LESSON kRIS!!!!
GOOD JOB!!!!
Hi Al, great lesson really enjoyed learning it. Having touble with the intro though any chance of some clarification?
"what is the sound of one hand clapping?" Its just been answered
I didn't know anything about this kind of music but you made me want to learn.
I start of with E minor then stop on B7, continue with E minor until the end.
wow!! sounds great, like in spain ;-)
in Part 10, what chord do you play on "stop" ?
The first stroke is played with a tap which gives it more punch, its played with the fleshy part of the thumb going through after with the nail and tapping exactly on the beat at the same time with the third finger.
wow this is your best lesson, awesomeness!
hi Al
little question about your very nice video:
can you explain the firt stroke you give when playing the chord. It seems you put a lot of srength in it and it sounds well and agressive at the same time. may you bring some precisions?
thanks
Al, I always thought the flamenco sound is great, but I took the technique for granted - it's hard at first, but once you establish "muscle-memory" with the right hand, it's incredibly fun. Thanks - I will incorporate flamenco in my playing for the rest of my life.
Gratefully Yours,
Kizaze
Hitting the beat with your right hand, its just a down beat, maybe there is a special name I'll look it up.
NIce lesson Al
Great Al,brilliant combination of grooves and chords!
Damn, thats a great lesson!! I'll try to get something out of it as soon as I pick up my jaw from the floor
You don't need to have long nails, but some nails to get a good tone, otherwise it sounds a bit dull.
thanks for your kind response.
Great lesson best so far for me!!
excellent lesson !!! Great stuff
Do I need to grow my nails out for this one?!
Great golpe lesson!

This is fanatstic - you are showing us so many things which I didn't have a clue about! I just HAVE to learn this!
Is there a general name for techniques involving hitting the beat with your right hand?
