Hi, GMC! The third variation of Master Giuliani’s La Folia is a great exercise for arpeggio and bar chords.
For the right hand, practice carefully the "planting" by placing the finger tips on the strings before plucking.
Some students have trouble playing the bar chords. They tend to squeeze the neck of the guitar with thumb and fingers, but not much pressure is really needed.
Hopefully, this lesson will show you how to deal with these issues, so "sweep with fingers!".
