  • Hi guys, and welcome to my new lesson! Today we're going to do some exercises for the pitch control. I'm sure you've done something similar on the guitar, and here the same exercise is used to give your voice better control over pitch, while changing the notes in the melody. The purpose of exercise is to increase your's voice ability to sing properly.

We will be using third intervals here, and going to step by step up and down the Cmajor and Cminor scale. You can make various combinations and exercise patterns based on this lesson if you want to develop your voice and ear further. For now, we'll stick to basics. Sing along with me in those slow videos, and take a Guitar Pro tab and use it's trainer feature to speed up the exercise gradually. I suggest that you start slow, watching about your breathing more than anything else. When you practice breathing a little, then go for the proper pitch corrections where needed.

Don't forget to warm up your voice before starting. Have fun! :)
