  • Hi all GMCers! In this lesson we're looking at a cool way to play a chord right over the whole neck. This is referred to as "Chord Inversions".

Not only is the chord played in a different position, but the note order is changed around. This results in different sounds from the chords as different notes are emphasized. It's also used in soloing, but that's at a later stage and is somewhat 'Jazzy' in approach.

But first you need to learn the chord inversions and worry about the soloing later :).

Hope you enjoy the lesson, pick up some useful tips along the way, and of course increase your understanding and playing skills on our 6 string friend!

Drop me a line on the forums if you have any questions on it and hope you enjoy the lesson and pickup something useful - cheerz!

    David
