Major Pentatonic Scale & Triads

Hi GMC! In this lesson we working with the major pentatonic harmonized with triads. The major pentatonic scale is composing by 5 notes: The fundamental, second, major third, fifth just and major sixth.

We study the different boxes of the major pentatonic scale. First start in the fifth string of the guitar in note C, then we plays D, E in the fourth string it’s been harmonized with notes of the arpeggio, G harmonize too, A, C harmonize, D, E harmonize, G harmonize too and A. This is one of the boxes that we will study.

Now we start in sixth string and we play the scale in order and then we have to harmonize the notes of the arpeggio. Then we start in fourth string, and then in fifth string follow the same process like in the beginning.

Remember we must harmonize the notes of the arpeggio, I mean the notes of the chord.
