  • Hi all you GMC people! I'm Toni Suominen from Finland and this is my first GMC lesson! The lesson is influenced by modern death metal groups like Arch Enemy.

The lesson will improve your use of octaves, your use of fast tremolo rhythm patterns, and pedal note rhythms. Back when I started guitar playing, this kind of pedal note riffs on the low E and A strings really helped me develop my rhythm chops. You also will learn better how to harmonize riffs in thirds. This can really give the song new dimensions.

The lesson is in E minor but I used the E locrian scale for this lesson. The song is in 4/4 time and 200bpm. The guitars are tuned to standard E.

    Hope you like it!

    -Toni
