Love it, thank U!
MickeM: you're my spelling competitor!
Very good! I definiaeiteley gain from these odd time signature lessons!
Thank you guys!
exorcyze: I used Native Battery, be patient for the midi track.
Pavel: you're right!
Juan: you're lucky. This year I don't see DT here in Italy.
Rawk on: spastic?!?
Bulletproof: Yeah! It's my new look!
Sounds good, and i went through andrews lessons but i don't get time signatures at all. This is why i never touch theory
This is not the real Jerry...this dude has a beard!!
J/k
Oh MY GOD !!! I love this one !!!! I don't mention I'm a DREAM THEATER FAN !!!! hehehehee ... and tomorrow I'm going to a concert of them !!!
To those of you who aren't quite sure what time-signatures are all about. I suggest going through these two of Andrew's theory lessons real carefully:
time signature
odd time signatures
Basically it means that if a riff doesn't loop evenly (meaning you can count to 2, 4 or 8) - it's an odd time signature. This is quite unusual so it gives a different, unexpected vibe!
great riffing. thanks.
Hmm, i don't get this :/
Awesome! I would love for you to build us a solo over this!!! Something really angular and spastic.
Really good stuff
I smell Dream Theater influence Some really interesting stuff!
Yeah know, I never really have seen the point of different time signatures. It all sounds like the same to me!
Very cool, i love the progressive feel to it.
Real cool, man. Good job.
Really metal man. Gonna get to this when i get have time to practice.
Perfect! Great rythm ideas!
yes this will add to my skills for sure! Always great to play in odd timeings!
Good work Jerry !!
This is very cool, and you did a great job with the drums as well! I always have a ton of trouble trying to do drums for odd time signatures and maintain a good groove for it.
Did you use addictive drums for this? Any chance you'd share the drum score ( or midi if you used addictive )? =)
Nice!
that's just awesome!!
Great riffing Jerry,love odd timings!!
Nice, we could use some more lessons like this!
Awesome Jerry - you have some very interesting rhythm chops. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
