INTRODUCTION:
Hello GuitarMasterFriends! welcome to my first 1 on 1 lesson. In this lesson we are gonna try to improve our writing skills and our improvisation, so I'm gonna show you some ideas that would help you when you are playing a solo. That's only some tricks, NOT all the tricks. In the improvisation there are lot of more techniques for instance the most important is follow your own intuition. The objective would be be able to able all that is in your mind! but how it's too dificult it's a good idea to get some trick to be on tune ;) Those are the tricks that I'm gonna explain here!
FOCUS:
that's to be able to play in the correct key, in this particular case the C major scale, and play over the chords using the arpegios in the BT (a C major and a G major. Then we can add some extra notes for instance the 7 (the result will be a Cmaj7 over the Cmajor chord and the G7 over the G major chord).
SCALES and CHORDS:
A C major scale
A C and G major arpegios and a C Maj7 and G7 arpeggios
DIAGRAMS:
Yeah, that's the most interesting of this lesson (IMHO). I paint 30 diagrams here! so I wish you enjoy them! You can imagine that I love this diagramas and I think this is the best way to learn properly all the scales and arpegios. Remember this lesson is NOT AN EXERCICE so you can use this diagrams to play what you want there! ;)
HOW TO PRACTICE:
Get the BT and start playing the C and G arpegios in a concrete position, then learn another position, mix 2 positions and learn all the position.
You can also add the 7th of the arpegio and add some extra pass-notes from the major scale.
SEND ME YOU TAKE:
Yeah, I wish to listen your improvisations! My take here is not too inspired so I hope lot of you can do it better than me ;) Come on guys!
