  • In today's lesson we'll analyze the style of the Allman brothers. If you are not familiar with this southern rock band, you need to check them out! They have influenced countless musicians and it would be a shame not to study their blues rock music.

    Today's song is in the key of A Major. We'll use an A Major pentatonic scale here to sound like the band. Make sure that your bends are well in tune and practice slowly. All the licks here are very usable in many different musical contexts.
