  • Hi everybody, welcome to my first GMC lesson. I hope you enjoy it!
This solo is played over a funky groove. The backing track is quite simple: there are drums, some percs samples and a bass line which play the A note.
I used the A blues scale (someone call this scale minor blues) extensively. Anyway, there are some notes outside of this scale.
Here you can find various guitar techniques: bending, slide, legato, tapping (1 note, really..).
This solo must be played with triplet feel on sixteen notes. This means that in each pair of sixteen notes, the first of the pair is slightly longer.
I recorded this solo with my Washburn N2 and Zoom G2.1u directly linked with my PC. This unit works well also as audio interface via USB.
    Time signature: 4/4
    Tempo: 91 bpm
    Good work!
