I love David Gilmour so much that I decided to work on a new lesson explaining his style. Today we'll take a look at his use of the Dorian scale over a backing track in the style of Another brick in the wall.
I changed the lead, but built it around licks that Gilmour would play. When playing over the backing track, remember that you don't need to play a lot of notes, just be tasteful.
Work your way through these licks, understand the scales, then create your own and incorporate them into your own music.
