  • Today we'll study the hand over legato technique. This technique consists in playing legato with the left hand while muting the strings with the right hand over the neck.

    This guitar trick is challenging, but visually rewarding. Make sure to be comfortable with regular legato before tackling the following examples.

    The backing track is in A Dorian and we'll use mostly 3 notes per string.

    Serious practice and dedication will make the difference here.
