In today's lesson we'll talk about arpeggios. First of all, what is an arpeggio? An arpeggio is a chord that is broken into individual notes. As you know, chords come from scales.
Today we'll work in the key of A minor. We'll build 4 note arpeggios using the Root, 3rd, 5th and 7th of that scale. We'll also expand that process by building 4 note arpeggio from each of the 7 notes of the A minor scale as follow:

This gives us different types of arpeggios that we'll be able to use in our improvisation. Memorize the suggested fingering, then try to make your own.
