Awesome you dig it Tonny!
great useful lesson nice melodi
WOOOW my little finger is crying !! Very usefull lesson, great hamonics, it makes me think at Slash ! Thank you !
Great for syncing both hands too!
Hey Gandhi! Maybe You would like to share Your progress in the REC section ?
thanks for the lesson! It really improved my picking speed and little finger usage when I play. Keep it up!
Little finger is a poor and shy guy that needs a bit more workout than the others. The more You use it, the less trouble it makes
Very good workout. My little finger is slacking.
Difficulty 2 ??
Damn ,it's hard !
But it sound's verry nice !
you should have called it littlefinger torture xD
Hi Dejan, been practicing this exercise for a couple of weeks now, im still at 70bpm...gonna go for 100!! thanks for the exercise. is it really necessary to do the exercise twice? at 2nd time my hand is getting some sort of pain. maybe i don't have some agility yet.
what scale can i use to solo on it ?
GREAT,, thx
xcellent workout! thanx for lesson
It may be hard in the begging, but as you increase the strength of the little finger it gets much easier
Thanks all for the comments
This is a lot harder than it looks! If I keep practising, will my fingers get as long yours?!
Great lesson!
thankx farkas
very very Helpful exercise
great workout for the hardest finger to master
Thanks, I hope the lesson will help you with pinky
Nice exercise, Dejan. I totally missed it because it's a level 2. I wanted more pinky and hand synch lessons and was reading in comments on another lesson about this one. It's very good. Thanks for creating it!
That's great to hear, you're welcome and thanks
Grate lesson Dejan. My little finger gets better every day. Thanks
Thanks
You can play it without hammer-ons if you wish but the best results for little finger will be achieved with them. It doesn't matter how fast you play, it is only important that it is clean and accurate
this sounds cool...but i am picking all the notes....having that one hammeron is so difficult i just break the rythm and start hammering some other notes.....I have to play it at like 40 bpm to get it right..but cool lesson..
As long as it sounds right, you can play it any way you want it
Your way puts more pressure on little finger, three hammer-ons in a row, and it's only a matter if the finger can take it
I recommend to to first practice it as it is, and then to explore your creativity and find your own way
Hi again, Dejan ! I'm practising this lesson, and was wondering whether it would be possible to play hammer-ons on all the places possible to grow more strength in my fingers ? For example, in the beginning :
e ---8-7h8-5h8-7h8--------
B -5---------------------- ...
Hopefully the tabs come out fine... Do you think this is appropriate ?
That's very nice to hear, thanks
Wow, very calming backing track and melody. I will definitely need this exercise for my pinky, so I can play legato more easily ! You rock, Dejan !
\,,/
thanks
Your tone is killer.
Thanks, very kind of you
It is a good sign, just be careful not to over-do it
Beautiful melody and very helpful workout! I start to feel tired with my pinky near the end, good sight:)
Thanks
I agree with you that is not "level 2" lesson to play at full speed, but this lesson can be practiced at slower speeds. So practically all levels may apply here
This lesson is very cool, but I don't think is a "level 2" one! :\
Thanks Frankster
And you're welcome
Very cool lesson
Thanks
Thank you for the kind words, it's great to hear that the workout helps
This is the first lesson I ever tried at GMCs, and I still play it sometimes.
Really good excercise to build my skills
Thanks again
well done mate sounds great and really helpful
That's great to hear, I'm very glad if the workout helped you
I can't thank you enough for this lesson. it's the best way that i've found to exercise pretty much all the fingers (mostly my formerly un-mastered pinky) and it sounds good too! i also use this to practice my speed-picking and legato.
after doing this for a while my little finger is completely different and very useful
Thanks
great lesson sounds great especially with the dual guitars
sounds great especially when the dual guitar happens
You're welcome and thanks
FAN-TAS-TIC Lesson !!.
Thanks so much
Thaks Mobero
great workout
Thanks
It's simple, just start with slow tempo and practice
this is sick...how do you do it?
Thanks, In the matter of fact, I have in plan some electric lessons and just waiting the guitar to be back from servicing
This is awesome, you should do more electric lessons!
veramente massiccio
Glad you like it, enjoy it
Nice! Exactly what I needed!
Thanks Dejan
It is important here that only one note is played at the moment, and it is completely up to you if you will lift fingers more or less, we all have differently shaped hands and fingers. Another words, you can do it in any way that you find comfortable for you, try to explore different ways and find the best one for you.
I was wondering if it's better to leave the finger on the fret and string it's on even though it's not being played, or to pull the finger of a little so that it's not touching the strings, or to pull it off less so that it's not touching the strings but the note stops sounding? For example, when you play 5 on the B string, then 8
Thanks
Very smart and useful!
You're welcome Moon Boots, it's great to hear that you improved
Keep on rockin'
Dejan: I've been playing this everyday for almost 2 months now and I've improved massively! I now have great stamina in my little finger and I'm playing scales at 40 BPM faster than before I started learning this! Yes, 40! This was easily worth my subcription alone.
Thanks so much
Thanks Carlos
Hey Dejan!!!Great lesson...Very creative...
I feel honored, thank you for the compliment
I joined because of this!! im a newbie guitar player and i love this riff!! Thanks!
Thank you
I know that exercises are often boring, I'm glad this one is not
Really nice exercise! =) It's nice to see an exercise that actually sounds nice too!
You're welcome, let me know if you need anything
Woho! I'm gonna practice this every day! I have no control over my pinky
Thanks a lot, Dejan
Thank you, I'm glad it helps
Just take care on timing, no matter at what speed you play, and it will improve over time for sure
I've found this piece to be an excellent exercise! After a few hours of practicing it I can already notice my pinky being stronger. I am having difficulties keeping up with the pace though, as it really should be played. But all with time and practice I hope?
Don't worry about the sound, just concentrate on clear and accurate playing
ok i almost have half of those things (distortion reverb)
thank you
well, you don't have to sound like me, but more like yourself
I recorded it through GuitarRig2, some distortion, reverb and delay, nothing else
:| it dosnt sound like u
useing any special effect ?
graet melody btw
Thank you Sven
Well I have the guitar for about 15 years now
nice lesson
really helps me with my untrained pinky^^
by the way also very nice guitar
If you don't hear the sound you are doing something in a wrong way
Make sure that you are hammering with the top of your fingertip, you should get any sound, if the hammering is too difficult for your current level of playing then try to pick all the notes and when you are confident with that slowly introduce the hammer-on. Let me know if it helps
maybe im just to noob for this but both my ring and pinky finger have no strenght at all when i try to hammer the 7 it produces no dound at all O.o
Thank you guys, you are really kind
REALLY ONE OF A KIND..IM REALLY HAPPY YOU MADE THIS PIECE..THANKS!!
Great lesson !! Very good workout..
Great , This will wakeup my louzy littlefinger
Thank you guys!
I feel great if you have use of it
And really, I cannot ask for more than that
It sounds fantastic - and - it's massively improving my playing. I really couldn't ask for more!
Cheers Dejan.
This 1 is fun to just sit down and play for as long as possible thanks!
Great stuff Dejan. Liked your explanations.
that's a beautiful melody!! and great exercise
too
Thank you all!
Arrival - take as much as you're comfortable with, and gradually increase
Haha, I think I'll take this one about 5 seconds at a time. My pinky finger is pathetic.
this sounds so great and this sort of stuff is one of my weaker areas--im gonna start this one right away!
Sounds so good - I love the way you have recorded the backing track with the 2nd guitar as well. Thanks Dejan.
this is a great lesson Dejan! i love the exercise and the melody and that is a big help in learning and perfecting technique. P.S. does this remind anyone else of Last Resort by Papa Roach? lol the first riff sounds a little like the intro
good practice for pinky dejan
Yeah, I really do need to work on my pinky. Killer lesson, Dejan!
Great lesson, I will be using this when I get back to practicing. Thanks.
Thank you guys!!
Whatever I do, I try to make it fun and interesting, even when practicing scales
SLASH91 - It's Ibanez EX-360, '89 model, I bought it from a friend in '95 and still sounds great
Excellent job Dejan! Sounds great, I can't wait to learn it all!

This is great! Awesome job!!
How funny, recently Muris told how important it is
to practice a lot with the pinky, since it's the weakest finger. I'm definitely adding this one
to my practicing routine! Great lesson Dejan,
very useful!
Thanx, Eddie
