Playing a minor pentatonic over a dominant 7 chord is a great way to add a bluesy feel to an improvisation. The tension heard when playing a minor third over the major third of the track is what makes blues so interesting.
In the following lesson, I'll share with you a few tricks to blend these two scales together and create a smooth improvisation.
The track is in A7. Make sure you are comfortable with the different pentatonic boxes before you start using the examples in your own leads.
Enjoy!
