  • Hello folks and welcome to another Blues Lesson at GMC!:)

    This one is bit modern I believe. I say this because it's not a type of B.B.King, Robert Cray, Muddy Waters etc. It's more like High-Gain blues, typical to players like Gary Moore, maybe Satch and even Andy Timons, many others as well.

    I wish I had a Les Paul for this one but luckily Stan's customized Desperado single in neck
    and my custom did it quite nicely. :)

    So, it's in key of C minor, lots of bends, few double stops, hard picking etc. Scale wise I used C minor pentatonic mostly, with few blue notes here and there, plus D minor pentatonic over D7 chord. This might sound odd but using minor scale over major chord is a cool feature in blues, I love it.:)

    Tempo is 95 bpm, time signature is 6/8.
