I think it sounds very good, but it's missing the most important of the lesson. Which I think its the right hand, when to pick, the guitar pro its also missing that.
And when Marcus plays slows he mostly does down picking which is not what he does when play in tempo.
holly mama, this this is incredible!
Amazing!
powerful!!
This is absolutely SICK, Marcus ! You rock !
Still one of my favorites. Ive been working on extreme neo classical at 90bpm by Muris. I plan on learning this one next! Advanced that is, I can do beginner
Your a genious. These 3 part solos are just so awsome Frets on fire mate
god.. lol..
i'm playing the intermediate with no problems, but this is really hard
Edit for language - Smells
Lol, even the camera cannot keep up. What I mean is, the frames per second lag behind the speed that Marcus is moving his hands. I still haven't figured out how Marcus and Gabriel will land on the desired fret when moving horizontally up and down the neck at break-neck speed.
:| This is crazy. This is gonna be my AP goal. To be this fast.
Thanks guys!
is there any way you could challenge yngwie to a shred off? cuz i would really like to see the look on his face when he loses lol.
How do those fingers move so fast!
Damn those fingers got grace
You are one of my guitar idols lol
good Marcus!!!!1
thanks....Great lesson...Very creative...
yeah !!! I didn't see that there is a GP file !!!! I'm gonna learn this lesson and then I will record a video !!! for sure I love this lesson
(well I hope I will need almost a month XD really difficult !)
Wow, that is really great !!! but definetely worth to get a 9 of 10 difficulty degree...
Thanks Plaidman!
Let me know If you need any help
I still love this one. Hope to be able to play it one day.
Scalloped neck, only with Floyd Rose and locking nut.
The fingering is exactly to the Maestro´s, as the feel.
Even the way of wraping around the volume knob with the little finger for volume-swelling techniques, and the flow of the picking is the same.
This.....is......too......fast.....lagging....while....typing ......now
Thanks guys!!
@ shellshock1911
No, it's not a Malmsteen signature strat and it's not YJM pick-ups.
I built this one myself
Is that that a Malmsteen signature model? Or YJMs in the neck and bridge? And your vibrato freakin insanne
yngwie malmsteen..wwooow amazing
man you are sick!
This is my favorite lesson on here!
This is one of the most phenomenal guitar solos I've ever heard or seen (& I'm a huge Yngwie fan). What a beautiful melody and tone! I'm just starting out and have no knowledge of scales and barley know any chords at this point, but this really gives me something to shoot for. Thanks for the lesson.
Amazing. I just ordered a strat copy myself.
Please keep these cool lessons coimng. You give Malmsteen a run for his money:)
jaw dropping yet again Marcus.
check the third lesson of the advanced level, your missing a note (a 12 on the b string) i think. good lesson >>>>>>>>>
sorry for the double post but just to clarify by " third lesson " i mean the third video including the whole solo part, or the second slow video . thanks- Tyler
jaw dropping yet again Marcus.

Oh, great lesson !!! You've got an amazing sound, what's your equipment ?? I like the long slides and of course you excelent picking and sweeping
Great solo Marcus .. any chance you could post Guitar Pro tab as I'm struggling to get the timing right.
Thanks
Love it.. Can't wait for the next one.
You are a genius:P Love your stuff. Keep it up
when this first came out, i could never do it, the only part i cant do now is that friggen alternating sweep.. dang
Amazingly accurate, and super vibrato!
awsome stuff sounds as great as blitzkrieg
2 words: goose pimples
damn your PERFECT vibrato! I just can't get it >.<
a month ago i looked at this video and thought it was impossible and now i can almost play it and just started playing it today. i think its been the steve vai songs ive been learning
WTF? ok, am i seeing things?? look at 0:05 on the vid, look at his neck pup at the bottom, what is flashing??? "
That is called a light
"WTF? ok, am i seeing things?? look at 0:05 on the vid, look at his neck pup at the bottom, what is flashing??? "
lol i saw it too
nice
but i thought it gonna be more difficult like ur first solo
ceers
ya know what. i give up on guitar... jk
this sounds like yngwie.
also sounds nothing like what comes from my guitar
man... to get a good vibrato on fret 20 is a different story.
Dude you are GOOD!!
shiiiiiiit this ones gonna take a while
Rvddps- with all due respect... had you done any hallucinogens before watching this vid?
j/k dude... I didn't see it though
loved the lesson really very very cool...
its nice you can start with something easy and work your way up to something more difficult than start with something hard and play it slow.
i dont think i can ever play this... first let me finish intermediate and beginner
Thats f***ing hard as hell to play... but I love it.
WTF? ok, am i seeing things?? look at 0:05 on the vid, look at his neck pup at the bottom, what is flashing???
What happened to the beginner lesson?I only see the onther 2 on here and beginner isnt on the hompage now?Marcus the way you strike the notes with feel and acuraccy is what i think makes you stand out and sound so great.I think that goes with alot of player's out there ,they can all play the same thing but there's always a few that put there own spin and soul into it and your definatly one of those. That makes you unique!
cool man I like this!!
Awesome Marcus - your playing is jaw-dropping, and the lesson format seems greatly appreciated!
Hey Marcus! It's great you will do GP tabs from now on! This was a very cool lesson to learn. Especially the 2 strings sweeps - i needed those! hehe
MattE: Marcus has 3 single-coils pick-ups - they have different sound than humbuckers. To get a smoother sound switch to neck humbucker(if you have a H-S-H or H-H guitar).
Very nicely played!
I attempted to jump straight from the beginner lesson to this lesson..bad idea XD
I did manage to play a little though. But I keep hearing a lot of static when I play it, the notes dont sound as smooth. Hardware problem?
Hey Markus!! This lesson is great! It's very Malmsteen! I promise that I'm going to learn this one!
That was the best lead i have heard yet !!!!
"video number 3 - what note length is that? First i thought those are 16th 6-tuplets, than i thought those are 32nds. "
Pavel,
It is 32nds, but I try stretch a few notes to make it sound less static. Though I must admit that I played that lick a bit sloppy!! Sorry for that!
Great news guys: I just bought Guitar pro, so from now on I will post those tabs aswell!
=0! perfect! amazing!
0_o Holy crap...
Insane.
Yup, this is definitly advanced
Wow, this is gonna give me a run for my money, great solo, superb musicianship, awesome lesson!
Hopefully we'll have more of these "3 Level" lessons, cool idea.
Great idea with the levels difficulties with the same solo. Turning a good solo into a better solo, and then an even better solo. However I changed a few notes around from each of the difficulties to make it sound better to me. Great stuff. Can't wait to see what you have for us next.
Love It!!! =D amazin!
amazing!
It would be very cool to have GP tab on this one.
Marcus: video number 3 - what note length is that? First i thought those are 16th 6-tuplets, than i thought those are 32nds. Than i tried to play it with your main video and i follow you the first 12 notes of that run but then it sounds like you cut out a couple of notes or the note length is different in that run...
Could you please tell us the note length? It would be awesome if you could make GP tabs.
wow....
OK i just started playing this and i noticed the tuning is down 1 half step GRRRRRRRRR
woooooooow...that was amaazing...I played the beginner and the intermediate versions they were both a piece of cake...but this..damn I just can't do it...I'll practice it till I can
Very very cool! Awesome! As soon as i get rid of the temperature i'll learn this one!! Great lesson Marcus!
wow
O my god! This is so fast! Great lesson, keep up the good work!
