I underestimated how difficult the 16th triplets are at that speed
If you're talking about dead notes on video #1, they are straight 32nd notes, not triplets.

Hello GMC:ers! In today's lesson I will show you some funk stuff. The challenge here is to create something which sounds funk and cool - I hope! - using only one note at time. No complicated chords are needed!
Some tips:
- relax your picking hand as much as possible
- try to experiment with different pressures for your palm muting
to reach the sound you like better
- use a clean sound with few effects
This is the setting I used with the Pandora PX4D:
Dyna: Comp 3.7
Amp: AC30TB - Gain 6.0 - Bass 5.0 - Treble 6.3 - Middle 6.7
