Hello GMC:ers! In today's lesson I will show you some funk stuff. The challenge here is to create something which sounds funk and cool - I hope! - using only one note at time. No complicated chords are needed!
Some tips:
- relax your picking hand as much as possible
- try to experiment with different pressures for your palm muting
to reach the sound you like better
- use a clean sound with few effects
This is the setting I used with the Pandora PX4D:
