Hello

I saw this video on facebook... it's fantastic : https://www.facebook.com/reel/1287159308502...chYV2B&fs=e
Maybe you know the guitarist, I haven't found anything about him.
This is a warm-up... My thought : warm-up of a great guitarist.

I decided to learn it and try to understand.
For this I captured the video and I propose a slow motion to 50% for those who want to learn it with me.
I created tab, download it : here

My analysis

Right hand picking.
I tested down picking and alternate picking, it does not work well for me because I have not practiced string skipping for a long time.
Hybrid picking seems to be a natural thing. Index and thumb hold the mediator to play A string / Major D string / Ring finger B string.

Scale
I don't really understand how this melody is constructed but the string skipping feel like
a GMC lesson I had worked on : String Skipping Melodies

In terms of the scale used, I find this exercise much more melodious and enjoyable with this beautiful final arpeggio that seems to be played on a diminished scale.
E B G | D# B F# | D A F# | C# A E | C G E | C G E
B D# F# A C D# F# A

Very cool etude indeed!

I like the fact that you get to practice both single note and chords - in an awesome sounding etude setting.

Hi Kris.

I'm learning it. I can't play 100% speed for moment.
I'm focus on blues position for play the final scale, it's a true pleasure.

Awesome addition Manu, the tab should benefit others!

Currently it seems I need permission to view it, maybe you can change permissions to "anyone with a link"?
