  • Hello again, GMC buddies!

We're going on with the metal riffs in this tune I also co-composed with my Equatorian friend Carlos cabrera. We recorded this song, called
"Another's pain", long ago in a home studio (if you want to listen to it, follow this link: www.purevolume.com/whodwellswithin).

This lesson is more in the style of AS I LAY DYING, a band I definitely recommend, especially their first albums, with all
those fast, agressive riffs and great compositions to headbang big time!!

The idea is to continue with the work we've been doing--writing agressive songs with groove as well and practising picking.
I want to show you how to make a song with different parts without losing focus on the main
melody, and also the way of including modal changes that sometimes disorient the ear but later, when you return to
the main melody, brighten up the song, turning your compositions into something more creative.

I hope this is useful, and the same for my other lessons. This may be more helpful for the metalheads in this site, but I think
everybody should practise this kind of exercises, as they are great to polish your technique and improve your ways of
    making songs.

    ENJOY AND PLAY EVERY DAY!!
