  • Hey GMC'ers! Time for some heavy riffs in the style of Dimebag (Darrell Abbott) from the Damageplan era! When Pantera broke up, Dimebag and Vinnie decided they needed to move on and start a new band. They quickly gathered a singer (Pat Lachman) and a bass guitarist (Bob Zila), and composed their darkest and heaviest songs ever. They named the band Damageplan and began touring. We all know what happened next, but Dimebag's spirit lives on forever in the hearts of true fans!

These riffs are moderate level difficulty for guitarists that are not familiar with Dimebag's style. He often used groovy riffs and minor/major thirds as powerchords.
